Mission
The mission of the Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District is to protect public health and safety, preserve the public trust, and protect the natural environment. We accomplish this by meeting present and future community needs, efficiently collecting and treating wastewater, and retaining and developing qualified staff.
The District is governed by a three member Board of Trustees who are appointed by the Champaign County Board.
