Dental insurance is available to all regular full time employees. Coverage is effective the first day of employment. The District pays 100% of the employee’s premium and 50% of dependent coverage. Premiums for dependent coverage are deducted from the first 2 paychecks each month. The current provider is MetLife.
The plan year is January 1 – December 31. Open enrollment is each December, but late enrollment for eligible dependents results in coverage for evaluations, cleanings, and fluoride application during the first 12 months of coverage.
